Who can participate as a seller?
You may only register if you live in the Southwood Riviera area of south Torrance. If you don't know your area, ask us. The sale is ONLY being held in south Torrance in the Southwood Riviera neighborhood. Do not register if you do not live in this neighborhood. If you are not sure, contact us. 310-928-9035.
Time
7am to Noon
I will have a Charity truck coming in the afternoon to pick up anything you wish to donate instead of putting it back into your garage. You will receive instructions on how to schedule the charity truck. I will deliver these documents the morning of the garage sale. Please take a few minutes to read them so you know the details.
Signage for the Sale
I have large yellow yard signs that I will be putting up in the neighborhood and at your house the evening prior to the sale. PLEASE DO NOT MOVE ANY OF THE SIGNS I PUT UP! They will be stragetically placed so that each person on the sale gets the best traffic. If you move a sign, you will be hurting your neighbor's sales! You are welcome to add your own signs anywhere you wish. Also, please do not write on, mark up, or damage the sign or stake in any way.
Maps
Maps will be created showing your address and given to all buyers and sellers so they can find your house.
Advertising
I will take care of advertising in the Daily Breeze, the Pennysaver and on Craigs List. You may advertise your sale if you wish.
Additional Information
The sale will be held rain or shine, unless it is supposed to just pour that morning. Should we need to change the date for that reason, you will be notified by e-mail.
